With a 2-1 weekend, including a key win over the Windsor Stars, the Thornhill Reds advanced to Sunday and took home some prize money.
Semi final play was washed out, which forced the four remaining teams to claim their entries back and call the rest of play due to weather. Mike Bannon was excellent in recording a 3-1 win against Windsor on Friday night, followed up by a solid performance from Chadwick Cameron on Saturday morning.
The Reds are rounding into form after a slow start that saw some injury and attendance issues hamper Thornhill out of the gate. Next action is Wednesday at home against the East York Bulldogs at 730pm, Danny Garcia to take the ball for Thornhill.
