After a tidy two game sweep of the lowly Martingrove Sox, the Reds are focused on the 2019 GTBL championship weekend and defending their 2018 Alex Stanley Memorial Trophy. The Reds won back to back championships in 2013/2014 joining Leaside and Etobicoke as the only teams to repeat.
The Reds open Friday night at home with Mack Major set to take the hill in game one. Chadwick Cameron and Jaz Shergill will also get starts over the weekend, with the Reds aiming to finish things in three straight games.
The Newmarket Hawks will host East York in the other opener, while the Reds are waiting for the winner of the Pickering/Leaside series to determine their opening opponent in the double knockout tournament.
