The Thornhill Reds won their fourth straight, a 9-4 road win at Stan Wadlow Park in East York on Monday night.
Mack Major(2-0) tossed six solid innings for his second win of the year. The Reds then sent Jeremiah Groulx, Hunter Greenough and Pat Orr to the mound for an inning of work each in securing the win. The Thornhill bullpen was fantastic, striking out eight of the nine outs they needed to record, while surrendering just one walk and two hits.
Argenis Paz had three hits to lead the offence, and Zach Lampreia went 2-3, driving in a run as well.
The Reds are back at it Wednesday night at home against Pickering, where Adam Jafine will make his first GTBL start for Thornhill.
